Kaiser Permanente was honored with the Community Champion Award at United Way Inland Southern California’s recent gala, “Expanding Our Hearts, Extending Our Reach” held at the Sheraton Fairplex in Pomona. The Inland Southern California United Way strives to unite people, ideas, and resources to empower the community and improve lives. Proceeds from the gala support various programs of the organization. The event also recognized Kimberly Starrs, the organization’s Vice President of External Affairs, who recently became president & CEO of the organization.
