Wings, Tracks & Wheels

We’re converting the Museum grounds into a military encampment featuring aircraft, military vehicles, and Living Historian re-enactors to create a salute to our military heritage. There will be plenty of food and drink and lot’s of activities for the entire family.

We will have Hangar Talk sessions and a terrific opening ceremony planned.

There will be flying demos of some of our aircraft, an M4 Sherman Tank demonstration as well, Raffle Drawings for Museum Members for a flight, and attendees will have a chance to win a flight in one of our aircraft as well.

In addition to the demonstration flights, there will be a demonstration of the V-1 Pulse-Jet engine, many other military vehicles, encampments, aircraft rides, Tiny Tank battles, Youth Programs, Kid’s Obstacle Course, Junior Modeler’s Workshops, and hand’s-on activities like the Junior Modeler’s Scale Model Aircraft workshops and the “Learning to Rivet” experience. Stroll the Museum’s campus to see our incredible display of aircraft joined by dozens of visiting military jeeps, trucks, and other vehicles from our military past as well as dozens of historical reenactors in military uniforms putting on demonstrations and telling stories in a real encampments.
