The 55-acres of Giant Tecolote Ranunculus flowers that make up The Flower Fields at Carlsbad Ranch® in Carlsbad\, California\, are in bloom for approximately six to eight weeks each year – from early March through early May – literally bringing the famous fields back to life. This annual burst of color\, which has become part of the area’s local heritage\, also is one of nature’s official ways of announcing the arrival of spring here in Southern California. \nThe Flower Fields are an alcohol and tobacco-free environment. Pets\, Emotional Support Animals\, Drones\, Balloons\, and Bicycles are also not permitted.

Entertaining families and friends for such a long time is a true privilege and a testament of our fantastic vendors\, entertainers\, and staff. \nAfter almost two decades of success as a renaissance festival\, we took a year long break–before reopening under new\, exciting management! This change has allowed the festival to continue to grow and thrive (which we’re all thrilled to see).
