SUMMARY:On Golden Pond
DESCRIPTION:On Golden Pond\nBy Ernest Thompson\nDirected by Ron Milts (The Dinner Party\, Oz\, Night of the Living Dead) \nSeptember 6th – 22nd\, 2024 \nRetired couple Ethel and Norman Thayer are spending their 48th summer at their vacation home on Golden Pond\, in the woods of Maine. Their delightful summer routine–fishing\, picking strawberries\, enjoying old mementoes\, listening to the loons call–is given a bitterly comedic edge by Norman’s unreliable memory and cantankerously morbid statements. When their daughter Chelsea visits for Norman’s 80th birthday\, bringing her boyfriend Bill and Bill’s teenage son\, Billy Jr.\, the whole family must come to grips with Norman and Chelsea’s mutual bitterness\, while Norman blossoms with his chance to mentor young Billy. \nThe turbulent relationship between father and daughter\, the generation gap between young and old\, and the difficulties of a couple in the twilight years of a long marriage\, all combine in a play that effortlessly illustrates the hilarious\, heartbreaking\, human moments of which life is made.\nClick to Purchase Tickets\n8PM Shows: Sept 6\, 7\, 13\, 14\, 20\, 21\n2PM Shows: Sept 8\, 15\, 21\, 22\nAuditions June 30\, July 1

SUMMARY:The Landsharks
DESCRIPTION:The Landsharks credentials are amazing to say the least! One of the most popular beach bands in the world and part of beach music history\, The Landsharks have played with the Beach Boys\, Bob Marley’s Wailers\, and at the Super Bowl! Having played with Jimmy Buffet in concert in Key West\, Florida and Margaritaville\, they were endorsed by the legend himself as the premier Jimmy Buffet Tribute experience.  With fantastic crowd work and the kind of raging talent that had them hired by Jimmy Buffett on the spot\, this is the kind of laid-back beach band experience you won’t want to miss.
