SUMMARY:James Garner’s Tribute to Johnny Cash
DESCRIPTION:A show that walks the line! \nFor the past 16 years\, Garner and his band have faithfully recreated Cash’s biggest hits with stunning accuracy in this not-to-be-missed musical event. This world-class tribute to the ‘Man in Black’ has been featured live in concert on PBS stations\, and has even performed at Folsom and San Quentin Prisons where Johnny Cash recorded his biggest albums. The show is a fun\, toe-tapping trip down memory lane honoring Cash’s life and music\, all set to his signature boom-chicka-boom sound. Enjoy all the hits of the Man in Black – “Folsom Prison Blues\,” “Ring of Fire\,” “I Walk the Line\,” and more! \nGarner and his band have performed more than 600 professional shows\, including a special concert at Folsom State Prison in 2008 to commemorate the 40th anniversary of Cash’s infamous live album recorded behind prison walls. Gene Beley\, one of two reporters in Cash’s entourage at the historic 1968 Folsom Prison concert\, says this about Garner and his show: \n“Garner and his band give concertgoers their money’s worth\,” says Beley. “This act will not disappoint the people who wish to resurrect that classic Johnny Cash voice and rhythm.” \nIn addition to performing across the United States\, Garner’s group has released three full-length albums\, making them the most recorded and published Johnny Cash tribute show in the nation. For Garner\, the love of Johnny Cash music started at an early age. \n“I started listening to Johnny Cash music when I was about 12 years old\,” said Garner. “The first song I heard by him was ‘Don’t Take Your Guns to Town’ and I was hooked. A few years later\, I saw the Man in Black in concert and got to meet him backstage following the show. Shaking hands with Johnny Cash is something I’ll never forget.” \n Show members \nJames Garner – Lead vocals\, rhythm guitar \nReggie Gay – Lead guitar\, vocals \nChris Akin– Bass\, vocals \nNick Auriemmo – Drums \nWebsite & Social Media \nwww.CashTribute.net \nFacebook: @JohnnyCashTributeShow \nTwitter: @CashTribute \nInstagram: @CashTribute \nLOCATION: YUCAIPA PERFORMING ARTS CENTER | INDOOR THEATER \nREGARDING STUBHUB / VIVID SEATS / OTHER THIRD-PARTY RESELLERS \nThe Yucaipa Performing Arts Center has NO association with StubHub\, Vivid Seats\, or any third-party resellers. SUMMARY:Shen Yun
DESCRIPTION:Shen Yun is a brilliant artistic revival and celebration of China’s rich cultural heritage. \nEach performance consists of about 20 pieces\, quickly moving from one legend\, region\, or dynasty to the next. Themes range from the delicate elegance of Tang court ladies to the battlefield heroics of valiant generals\, from the timeless philosophical works of Lao-Tzu to spectacular scenes of magical realms. Some pieces also touch upon the topic of today’s China\, shedding light on the oppression many experience for their spiritual beliefs\, such as Falun Dafa. These tales of courage are often what audience members find the most touching and uplifting. \n\nFRIMAR87:30PM\nSELECT SEATS\n\nSATMAR92:00PM\nSELECT SEATS\n\nSATMAR97:00PM\nSELECT SEATS\n\nSUNMAR101:00PM

SUMMARY:Rodgers & Hammerstein’s Cinderella
DESCRIPTION:The timeless enchantment of a magical fairy tale is reborn with the Rodgers & Hammerstein hallmarks of originality\, charm and elegance. Originally presented on television in 1957 starring Julie Andrews\, Rodgers & Hammerstein’s Cinderella was the most widely viewed program in the history of the medium. Its recreation in 1965 starring Lesley Ann Warren was no less successful in transporting a new generation to the miraculous kingdom of dreams-come-true\, and so was a second remake in 1997\, which starred Brandy as Cinderella and Whitney Houston as her Fairy Godmother.
